Welcome to Nairobi, Kenya
Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). Met by local Rooted Journeys representative. Transfer to Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi. Relax and settle in. Evening: welcome dinner with live entertainment and cultural performance.
Day 2
Nairobi — Great Rift Valley — Lake Naivasha
Breakfast and check out. Visit the Giraffe Centre — feed and photograph endangered Rothschild giraffes. Scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with viewpoint photo stops. Lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden & Cottages. Arrive Lake Naivasha. Boat safari — spot hippos, fish eagles, colorful bird species. Guided walking safari on Crescent Island Sanctuary — free-roaming giraffes, zebras, antelopes. Check in to lodge. Dinner.
Day 3
Lake Naivasha → Masai Mara National Reserve
Breakfast and check out. Drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve through rolling hills, rural farmland, and colorful Maasai villages. Arrive for lunch. Check in to safari lodge or tented camp. Afternoon: first game drive — elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras. Return to camp for dinner surrounded by sounds of the wild.
